If you look at the back of most supplement bottles today, you'll see a "Proprietary Blend." It sounds scientific. It sounds advanced. But in reality, it's the biggest scam in the supplement industry.
What is a Proprietary Blend?
A proprietary blend allows a supplement company to list a group of ingredients together and only disclose the total weight of the blend, rather than the exact amount of each individual ingredient.
Why do they do this? They claim it's to "protect their secret formula" from competitors. That's a lie. They do it to protect their profit margins from you.
The "Fairy Dusting" Method
Here's how it works: A company creates a "Muscle Growth Blend" that weighs 2,000mg. They list 10 ingredients in the blend. The first ingredient is cheap filler (like Maltodextrin or cheap Creatine Monohydrate), which makes up 1,990mg of the blend. The remaining 9 ingredients—the expensive, effective ones—make up the remaining 10mg.
This is called "fairy dusting." They sprinkle just enough of the good stuff in there to legally put it on the label, but nowhere near the clinical dose required to actually do anything for your body.
The RWB Standard: Full Transparency
At RWB Nutrition, we don't do proprietary blends. Ever. When you look at our labels, you see exactly what you're getting and exactly how much. If an ingredient requires 5g to be clinically effective, we put 5g in the bottle.
We built this brand on discipline, accountability, and doing things the right way. Hiding behind proprietary blends is the exact opposite of that.
Stop guessing what you're putting in your body. Demand transparency. Demand the standard.
